Requested an estimate to have my house rekeyed. Had initially contacted him and sent him pictures of the door lock. John told me he would come at no charge in Windsor to provide me with an estimate. When he got here, he looked at the lock and saw that it was a smart lock. He did not even give me an estimate or ask if he could start rekeying the house. He did not have to change the lock itself as it is a smart lock, just gave me 4 new keys. The smart lock goes with a code system to open and close the door without key.
I asked him if we could change the code together. He told me no.
He charged me $80 with $60 just to come to Windsor, without letting me know in advance while I specifically asked. The code was not even changed, so anyone knowing that code can get in my house.
Really dishonest person. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I have called this locksmith numerous times and left messages, but no one has ever called my back. Are they in business anymore or just poor customer service??? I would NOT recommend using Green Mountain Lock.
