Absolutely unacceptable. Was rude and aggressive towards my wife with my 3 children in the house. Informed her after he arrived that he would only rekey Kwikset locks and nothing else. Did not allow us to go get said locks while he was there. And then left after 15 minutes. Unprofessional is too kind of word for this company.

One is too high of a rating. Rude and unfriendly customer service. Asked me to use another company when i asked for a time frame when they would arrive for the service.

I was worried when OneGuard assigned Amer-Tech, and I saw all these poor reviews. But my experience couldn't have been different than these reviewers. Locksmith came out, on time, changed 5 locks under warranty and 3 more out-of-pocket as it wasn't covered by OneGuard (fine no problem). All the keys work no issue.

Can I give 0 stars? Had the unfortunate experience of getting a service request that I submitted to my home warranty company contracted out to this company.
I called 4 days before I needed service in order to allow for any conflicts they had with scheduling. They are supposed to call within 4 hours after getting the request sent to them by the warranty company. 4 hours pass and don’t hear from them, I give them some time and then I call them, the entire day when I was trying to get a hold of them, no response. No one calls back or answers the phone.
Call my warranty company the next morning to tell them that they have a 4 hour response time agreement with this company and they are not honoring it at all. The home warranty company then tells me that they will reach out to the locksmith. The warranty company finally gets a hold of the locksmith to check on the delay and confirms with them that they will definitely give me a call back today within four hours to set up service.
An additional four hours pass, I hear nothing from this company. at this point I need my service scheduled within two days - I had called to give them a few day cushion but it seems as though they are going to be unreliable, so I call The locksmith again- I finally reached a real person on the phone and told him that I called regarding a service request from my home warranty company, and his immediate response is to be incredibly
defensive and ask me in a rude way when I actually called, he informs me that “they have a full four hour window to call back, it’s not going to be Immediate so if the time hasn’t passed yet, wait it out and someone will call me back” and I respond with “yes, I am aware Of the four hour limit- in fact, I submitted a requestWith the warranty company over 36 hours ago so I think I meet the four hour limit.”
He changes his tone instantly and says, ‘oh I see, well I don’t have my scheduling material in front of me so let me call you back this evening’ and hangs up. Could barely be bothered to stay on the phone with me after I spent two days ANd multiple Calls trying to get in touch with him. At this point I should have left and told him not to bother but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and said ok.
Still nothing. Almost three days later I called my warranty company and cancelled my request and suggested they pull him from list of contractors. Re keying is something that needs to be scheduled- I don’t want to leave my house while my locks are compromised like that. I can’t trust these guys to do something as simple as answeR the phone or give me a call so I definitely do not trust them to arrive at a scheduled time and I trust them even less to do a good job on a rekey.
Good riddance. Luckily i cancelled my service request with these clowns and was able to find a reliable local locksmith at a reasonable rate. It’s Saturday morning and the local locksmith company answered my phone call in 3 minutes and got it scheduled immediately even without the few day cushion I had provided to ameri-tech.
That customer service and reliability is an excellent example why ppl will be willing to call the local guys and spend a little more money than Having to deal with the bottom of the barrel companies like this Who treat customers like a burden. This is your job- jeeez.
The headache of dealing with this company is Not worth saving a few bucks at all

I was assigned this company through American Home Shield for a simple re-keying job. I bent over backwards for 2 weeks trying to accommodate his schedule as I live an hour away and actually work for a living.
When I said I was going to contact the warranty company, he texted:
"I usually deal with one a****** every week. It's good to get you out of the way. Sorry for you this will have no effect on me."
I've contacted AHS and they've re-assigned another locksmith and spoke to quality control and will hopefully pull this contract.

I was assigned this contractor through my home warranty company. He took 3 days before contacting me when they are supposed to contact within 24 hours. Only communicated via text. When I gave him a time that worked for me on the day he suggested, he replied with “I’m sorry that will not happen”. This person or company doesn’t care about customer service, doing a good or proper communication. When confronted with this, they simply did not care at all. If you get assigned this company from your home warranty save yourself the time and request a different company. 0 stars.

This Fort Worth area locksmith was assigned by my home service contract company. He was almost completely unresponsive, unreliable, only communicated by text with one exception, and was dishonest. I do not recommend him or this company at all.

A ONE is really too high a rating. The person who was supposed to be a locksmith came to my house--part of a Landmark Home Warranty deal to change 4 locks. There was a flat fee of $70. He did what I thought was finish the job and left. I was busy so I did not check his work.
I had to call to have him come back because the locks either did not work at all or did not work properly. He was surly and defensive and tried to make them work. They still are so hard to open that you could get a blister from trying to turn the key. Don't even think about calling these people.
