I had called Bedford Locksmith Pros and somehow someone from Avenue Locksmith was sent out to me. I was initially told it would be $19 for the service call and $35 to unlock my car.
I gave them all the information. Like the year, the model and that it was MANUAL lock, not electric. The guy that came out tried to pick the lock and then said because it was manual to unlock, he wasn't able to. He said the cost for that was $119 for that service. This place is a complete rip off! I am so damn mad right now! I DO NOT recommend them to anyone! Stay away from them!!!!

These guys are rip off artists...charged me $374 to drill a lock which took the technician five minutes. I was desperate because I was trying to get dogs out of the house that were in there over 11 hours. They stated they would be there in 15 minutes and arrived an hour and forty five minutes later. I filed a complaint with the BBB! Beware of these con artists!

Anyway, these guys love Overcharging!
I've had homes re-keyed a few times and know a fair price.
These guys took advantage pf the situation and charged 4 times the amount that should of been charged!
Let me repeat...
They overcharged 4 times what they should have.
Total scam!

Was told that price for replacing door knob set was $69 plus $19 for service fee and was charged $300. Very slick and manipulative service guy. I felt really upset to be lied to about pricing. The keys were inside door knob package but I was charged for re keying of locks that were never re keyed. If I could rate service less than one star I would.

My daughter locked her keys in her car. After calling Avenue Locksmith LLC, she was quoted $30. Once the man got there opened the door he charged her $150. FOR LABOR FOR A MINUTE - BS.

Had them meet us to open my granddaughters car. Quoted $35. By the time they were done it was $175! took him more time to write up the ticket than to get it opened.
