In June, 2008, after having business hours of 24/7/365 for over 35 years, KL&K went to business hours of 7AM-9PM daily. Then in 2014, the business hours were changed again to 7AM-8PM daily and have held at those hours ever since. During the hours when not open, the business phone goes automatically to voice mail where anyone calling after hours may leave a message with the call to be returned during the next business day.

To verify some of this, I invite you to Google: "15 Tanglewood Drive, Essex, VT" where you will see a series of pictures of my residence taken by Google Maps, in July, 2011 with my service van parked in front of the house, with the business hours prominently displayed on the rear side panel.

The purpose for the preceding is to advise that any posted review of KL&K in which the poster purports to have called KL&K AFTER the closing hour and spoken to me is patently false, as the phone automatically goes to voice mail AT the closing time. Please keep this in mind when evaluating the truthfulness of any such posting. Thank you.

I was told to contact this locksmith in an effort to get a new vehicle key cut for my van. However, when I called him I was met with a very unfriendly attitude. I was told that he would not cut a key unless he provided to himself. I could understood his hesitation and resistance to being held liable for someone else's product. However, When I was about to ask him if I could purchase one of his keys he proceeded to say thank you for calling and hung up on me. I was left feeling very frustrated and disrespected. I would not recommend this locksmith.

This is the second time we have required the skills of a locksmith. Mr. Keenan responded promptly; was knowledgeable and experienced ; courteous and efficient. Very reasonable rates. We would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of a good locksmith.
