We are having a house remodeled. We contacted Mr Keys to have locks and door handles installed. Bill came out and looked over the job. We told him we wanted to spend about $500. He then sent some pictures of material and we said they were good and reminded him about our $500 budget. He said they were right in that area.

On the morning of the install Bill showed up, got out of his van, and showed us the product and said the price was around $600. I said to Bill that’s a bit more than $500 but we said ok and he installed the door handle and two locks. He then presented us with a final bill of $714. Since the work was already done we paid the bill.

We definitely feel like he took advantage of us. We went from a $500 estimate to a $600 quote when he arrived and an hour or so later the bill goes up another $114 to $714:
Sure feels like a rip off scam to us.
