Losing a "chipped" car key can be expensive. 2016 Toyota Scion FRS.
Toyota dealer: Key $303, Program it $250 and up, and you have to have the car towed there. Towing was $110. That's $663 some folks don't have.
Local locksmith showed up in the driveway at 1900 (7pm) with a key, programmed said key, linked it to the car's computer, and we're ready to go in 35-40 minutes. Total $250.
Still expensive? What's your time worth? Remember, you're paying for experience not an hourly wage.
For the Fort Campbell / Clarksville area: If you have ANY key problems. Call this guy. Friendly and fast.
