My experience using RJ LOCKS to get keys copied, or cut when I dont have a key. It's been pretty good.

While RJ is going to be more expensive , if it's a common key I ususally take it to Lowes first. If lowes cant do it, usually RJ can. In most cases he wont let you down.

I will say that if you buy a blank key from somewhere else and then take it to him to have it cut, you may have a problem. I bought genuine Toyota keys and even though I know how to program them his staff would not cut them. They said it had something to do with the metal would screw up their cutting wheel. Well over the course of 2 occasions I have taken my toyota keys that RJ wont cut and took them to the actual Toyota Dealer and they cut them FREE no questions asked. Heck toyota will even cut them to code/vin for free.

While I am happy that RJ is in the hagerstown area and he has saved me in the past from items i bought at auction. The little paying Jobs i think he could care less, even when you offer to pay him.

But over all I'm a pretty satisfied customer. Heck I'll actually will be seeing him today to hopefully get a safe key made.

Sure hope they have it.
